Step 1: Add shapes

The width and height of the document are 2000 so it’s an equal size on both ends and then I’ll change my resolution to 250. so you have a nice resolution now we’ll have a new document here in photoshop now for this collage. you want to make a 3×3 grid so essentially there we’ll be three rows of three images rather than having to divide all this up eye you can do this very easily with a few shapes.

so first go and create a new layer and then go to fill it with your foreground color and make it dark and then select a new layer and hold alt and delete to fill that color with your foreground color.

so with your layer filled with your foreground color, you have to press ctrl + T. After that make sure that your reference point is checked off here then you can click. Give the percent value of box 33.33 percent. Then your shape comes into the top corner exactly one-third of the part.

Next, you have to duplicate by pressing the command or ctrl + J or the options move tool selected and clicking and dragging over and it’s going to automatically duplicate and move that and now you have two image blocks. now we’re just going to group these to make life easy, so holding shift and clicking between your top and bottom layer we’ll press ctrl + g to group them.

Now just duplicate the row two more times to fill in the rest of your college then grab your move tool and then drag down your block.
